ABOUT THE SCIENTIST
Dr Beata Ujvari

Dr Ujvari is an evolutionary biologist and ecologist, and a Senior Lecturer in Bioinformatics and Genetics at Deakin University. She did her PhD on an endangered snake species in her home country of Hungary, which ignited her passion for the conservation of all animals. Her current research centres around transmissible cancers, particularly in Tasmanian Devils.
