Save a Species

This activity requires students to select an endangered species of interest to them and create a presentation for the class. They will research the species and provide information on its conservation as well as choosing their own areas to further investigate.

Learning Objectives 

By the end of this module students will be able to:

  • Identify an endangered species and what this means.

  • Identify why the species is at risk.

  • Understand the implications of the extinction of this species to the environment. 

  • Understand species conservation and the importance of it.

  • Identify what can be done to assist in the conservation of the species.
